Hi all,can anyone tell me how to reduce the ssb output power on a ss9900 if I turn the dial fully down it's still doing over 50 watts.i want to turn it down to around 35 watts so it doesn't overdrive it all the time.
Regards

Normally the pots are marked up i have backed off the echo delay and echo volume on my 9900 which are at the front of the board nr the channel knob so have a look inside for SSB PWR you will need a tiny cross head driver,i would also back the FM PWR right down as they are known for running very hot.Good luck..

Hi,if anyone want to lower the power internally just watch the small vr screw.mine was very twitchy to setup.
