Hi guys,

Just aquired a few of these radios, great pieces of kit.

Would it be possible for someone to send me the software to program them and also any other info or data sheets to go with them to give me an idea of what sort of things they can do.

Cheers,

Greg ;)

I am a complete newbie on this ok so please bear with me!
I want to program this radio as its my first one! But i dont want to flash it incorrectly.

I need the software and if possible an image file to upload it to my radio with the maximum frequencies, 99 i belive. I also need infomation on how to use the program either a user manual or a source file.

But first things first, i gotta obtain a programming cable. Does anybody have one spare or selling cheaply?

It will find a good home to a kean learner!

If that is not possible can anybody direct me to the name of the cable?

I sure am greatfull for anybody that can help me on this

Thanks everybody

Mark
Mark,

You can a RIB box with a cable, which sits between the computer and the radio, but I bought and use this type of cable:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Port-Programm ... 27bbdf7a5b

it connects directly from the radio to the computer using RS-232. I got mine from a UK seller so it was only £12.

They are easy to program with the right RSS. Drop me your email via PM if you need further info.

Hi,

New to this radio programming thing but have been struggling to programme some visar uhf radio's - I tried the visar software but they wont read - I was then told that the visar's were the european version and used the gp900 software....then I was given a couple of gp900 vhf's so am looking for the GP900 RSS and perhaps confirmation that the european visars use the GP900 software.......before I go insane lol

I also will be needing the gp340 software soon as well - am trying to programme radio's for use at the airsoft site I play at.

Many thanks

PM me.

Hi All,

Was looking for the software to programme some gp900 VHF radio's I was given - I also need some advice from people who can stop me tearing my hair out....I have a number of Motorola Visar UHF radio's that require programming. I got the cable and downloaded the software but it cant read the radio's - I was then told that the visars were European spec and used the GP900 RSS rather than the US Visar/HT1000 software - does anyone know if this correct?

Thanks in advance

Norman
