Sandpaper for deeper scratches.
For finishing you should use polishing paste/fluid and soft cloth.

Use finer and finer grades of wet & dry paper (up to 2/3000 grit) and then polish the hell out of it, or do the finer and finer sanding bit then use a warm vapour canister to melt the surface clear. Watch this for example, but there are plenty of similar videos out there:

Kits are available from £14 upwards, but do it outside and hold your breath as the vapours are somewhat toxic!

Give 'Marty's Matchbox Makeovers' a watch on youtube. He shows various methods of repairing and polishing broken or scratched windows on toys. Not tried it myself though.

Re: Perspex on front of radio scratched
I have seen it done with a small gas torch but you have to be quick so it doesnt distort or bubble up.
But It would be a last resort only if the polishing didnt work. might be simpler to try and find one on the internet.
Post a picture it may be the same as other radios.

Depends how bad/deep the scratches are.
But you should get away with t-cut and a bit of elbow/knuckle grease
I've used t-cut on plastic car headlights and plastic wristwatch crystals . They come up like new.
Don't use any thinners FFS
And I personally wouldn't be putting any heat near it.
And as edd200sx said.

The depth of the scratches are the key as to how to remove them. The deeper they are then more likely it is that sandpaper is the best option. But fine surface scratches can be polished out with toothpaste or moistened baking powder.

Watch the videos on table making and epoxy modelling. The paper goes 1000, 2000 and higher then the various creams, and the thing is cloudy, less cloudy and then perfect it seems.
