Daft question time

OK it's daft question time. I have a Yaesu FT 757GX2 and a Kenwood TS 440S which as we all know puts out 100W. Now if I want to run an amp how do I turn the output power down on the radio to about 20W to drive my amp? Am I right in thinking it's the mic gain?

Im asking on the 11M section as thats where these radios are used.

That's ok then, I Suppose you could do it via the mic gain but one slip and its BANG

An inline attenuator or a modification to the radio, Never owned any of those radio's and don't own a linear so not 100% sure, CH-25 Will know
