Yeah . I already have a non matching serial # box for my other 3900 . But this one came up and I thought I'd buy it for re-sale .

I have one of the newer "truck" boxes as well .

Got a Kraco KCB-4004 looking and working like new , having fun with it with the guys across the pond.

SS 9900 from a local breaker for mobile use.
Good size to fit into my camper and more than enough power output.
Got it for £100 and came with a Kpo power mic too.

Think we need to change the name of this thread to 2023 .

Picked up this guy today . 83 mk2 . It was modded to an "F-100" version here in Spain when it was bought . Extra bands ,variable power etc. It had been sitting for about 20 years I think . I was hoping that I might get lucky and that it would still be working flawlessly , but that wasn't the case . It needs opening up and a few things sorted . Pity really as it still has the seals on the side from when the work was done . I do like the Cobra sticker on the box and paperwork that came with it though . Don't think there was even a subsidiary of Dynascan here in Spain . Even if there was , I doubt they would have had anything to do with modding a Superstar Also . Seemingly these was an option for adding a 2m RX board . At least that's what it says on the sheet . Would like to have seen one of those .
