I have a diamond d190 and a diamond x50n antenna
They are in the loft but will be getting installed on the roof very soon. I spoke the the installer. I questioned him regarding do they need a earth/ground
He said he fits lots Antennas for amateur radio uses and never has earth/ ground an antenna.

Re: Antenna help
These types of antennas use DC grounding, so they do not require to be earthed separately.

Re: Antenna help
No earth needed. I have an x30 on a lashing kit on the chimney. Works brilliantly
