Cleartone 7000A/A4 info
Does anyone know how to program the CM7000A/A4 repeater? I've found a manual online, but it doesn't quite match the board layout of the one I have. Mine contains 2x CH650 handhelds with a central control board. There are also what look like a couple of 27C64 chips inside. I know the control heads used to be all over ebay at one time, now they're all gone!

Re: Cleartone 7000A/A4 info
A special handheld programmer made by JRC radio was used, same body form of CH650 and special lead plugged into side of ch650
the eproms convert the BCD from control head to a format to control channels programmed into the ch650 UHF sets
some eproms lockout the po,ice firearm channels (redundant now )for general use or special channels at the time
The VHF set was either manaully done via a special plug inserted into the mic socket or later versions were pc programmable
ch650 were 440-470mhz and 25khz bandwidth for Public sevice band
other hardware revisions were made at Cleartone factory.
you could try contacting them?
