Glasgow Airport

Post by GlasgowGuy »

Does anyone do a lot of listening at Glasgow Airport? Can anyone be specific with the following frequencies? 456.03Mhz, 453.575(possibly fuel), 453.925, 455.77(possibly fire service), 456.00, 455.725, 456.895, 456.9?

Cheers

Certainly the list was very useful just no joy though with ground type frequencies. Certainly a good one to add is that Cumbernauld Airport on outskirts of Glasgow operates on 120.6Mhz AM.

All airport related freqs.

http://www.air.radiouk.com/

We try to keep this site up to date. Some UHF freqs not been added as yet but we will get around to it in time, now ime flying to airports around the country the list will get bigger. All freqs on air radio are passed on to Paul Wey at proma for inclusion in his database. Please use any freq you find.

Can anyone shed any light on exactly what the aim of the frequency 115.4Mhz on AM is for at Glasgow. It seems as if its data transmitted. Not sure if its some kind of aid for pilots.

The above is a navigation aid for pilots giving out a morse code ident of GOW

VOR = VHF omni-directional Range
DME = Distance Measuring Equipment
Hope this helps
