Cardiff Freq 453.37500

Cardiff Freq 453.37500

tuned the scanner for the first time in a while and put this freq in 453.37500 and every now and then i hear what can only be described as "roger over bleeps" very similar to the old police uhf repeater over beeps.... but i cant hear no voice? do i need to work out the repeater shift for voice? any suggestions? anything?

but why can i only hear the bleeps and no voice? im convinced the bleeps are roger out...but good spotting....ive noticed a few on the WTR that could be out of date....

Ah, just heard it, I see what you mean. Not very strong here in Llanishen. Only listening on the 3500 with rubber duck indoors though.

Sounds like a 5-Tone ID noise to me. Heard no voice either.

i work in llanishen and always have a handie with me! haha but the 5 tone bleep is weak as you say.... i get plenty of PMR users around llanishen though
