The British Grand Prix 2014 Silverstone.
Does Anyone Have Any Radio Scanning Frequencies For All The Teams Like Pit Crews And Drivers and any other Frequencies For Silverstone Please Thank-you.

121.175 Heliport (temp assignment, CAA temp freq, might change)
130.675 Unsure precisely what this was assigned too
SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT
162.525/157.925 ~167.9 Race Control (and yes, that is same freqs as VHF Marine :98)
453.2/459.7 ~218.1 Race control to/from teams
453.975 ~71.9 Track/facility maintenance or similar
456.525 :4 ~110.9 Cleaners
456.675 :20 Race track ops? (NB at least 20 channels!)
169 simplex band worth checking too.
Numerous other freqs reported but not heard personally.
TEAMS
Team freqs can change every year and be in all kinds of weird and wonderful places, including home office, PMSE, and military bands.
Most are digital/tetra and some are encrypted.
Only analogue ones in 2013 were:

Minus1 - can you perhaps tell me where you got the specific AIRWAVE info from please? Is there a website somewhere maybe with this detail including the frequencies?

This used to be open to access, but you have to register now, and it's a bit rubbish in terms of usability.
There was a dataset you could download for use with Google maps, I don't know if it is still there.
The freqs you have to figure out for yourself, they're not THAT helpful.

Yes the PMSE license has just appeared this week, and I assume will be to just cover the Blancpain event this weekend. There was similar temp license for last weekend at Brands Hatch.
The MRTC license covers the relatively new Nexedge system for the marshals posts, now used at several circuits.
You're right, many of the simplex freqs at silverstone appear to be multi-use. They'll be used by Security at major events at the weekends, and then the drive school / experiences during the week and when there's no event.

Most of these frequencies are now out of date: Silverstone staff and security moved across to to a trunked MotoTRBO Capacity Plus system in May. They're currently using Short Term Hire frequencies, so maybe they'll migrate back to the frequencies listed in License 0831546 in due course.

As said before, all security and Silverstone staff were using DP4400 UHF in cap plus I believe. There was at least 9 talkgroups that I know of in use by the security teams alone, probably more.
Marshall's had Mototrbo DP3400's on VHF.
I don't think I saw an analogue radio in use at all.

Agreed.
A few of the GP2 and GP3 teams were still using analogue. Toro Rosso pit channels were analogue too. But most of the circuit and event related radio was MotoTRBO, most of the F1 was TETRA, and most of the GP2/GP3 was Nexedge digital

Some marshalls and Medical are in the clear on VHF. I live only a few.miles from the circuit and listen all year round. If you're.still interested in the freqs let me know and I'll copy them off my 1802 in the truck for you.
