Mitex Programming Software

Post by xisle »

Hello all,

I know there's a lot of chat about the location of the programming software for the Mitex/SFE radios, however, it seems that these are now out of date - http://www.dhdz.com.cn/UploadFile/200979111514978.rar doesn't work anymore.

The reason I need the software is that I've purchased a 2nd hand VHF Sport to go with the others that I already have, however, the lower channels are programmed differently meaning I can only use 14, 15 & 16.

So I'm looking to reprogramme it to match the others.

Many thanks in advance if someone could share either a new link or indeed the software itself.

I know I'm a newbie on here, but it's only recently that I've had a need for some 2way radios and even more recently the need to reprogramme.

Regards

Where did you get the software from?
Have you got a link? - I'm trying to re-download the Mitex software too...
Thanks.

It's all pretty easy, well now it is after all the pain! :D

:: Using Google Chrome, go to the SFE website at http://www.dhdz.com.cn and let Chrome translate it
:: DON'T hit the English link in the top right as their english version doesn't have the required parts
:: Once Chrome has translated it, select the "Register" link
:: Fill in all the details and submit
:: Chrome won't translate the message box that pops up, but it basically says that your account will be "Audited"
:: It took overnight for my account to start working, I DID NOT get a confirmation email, I just kept trying to login
:: Once you can login to your account (again, whilst you await "audit", you'll get a pop-up box that doesn't translate)
:: The Menu buttons don't translate, but click third from right and you'll see a link to "Write Frequency", click it
:: If you're logged in, you'll get the list of their available programmers.

I've not tested yet as I'm awaiting a new cable to arrive, but I believe the one you need is "ears of walkie-talkie S820/S830/S900/S920 programmable software"

Good luck! :D

Glad all my hard work paid off.

I'm not so lucky, as I've got the sport version which is VHF, I can't get the damn software to work. Seems as though none of their software works.

If anyone does get a sport version to work, let me know.

Thanks for the info xisle! I bought a Mitex site, which, at the moment, is a £100 paper weight!! I've followed your instructions, and registered about 48 hours ago, but sadly it is still throwing up the message about authenticating/auditing or something. Oh how I wish I'd checked it was possible to get the software first!!! Ah well, look out for a Mitex site going cheap on 'an auction site' soon!

Hi all. I know this is a old post but I've spent weeks banging my head against the wall trying to find software to read my work mitex general radio codes so I can program a baofeng uv-9r to work with them. I finally got a copy of sfe-s820. The links on here didn't work for me or many other links elsewhere. If someone can point me to somewhere I can upload it then I'm happy to do so and provide a link for others. I managed to get my copy from hamfiles.co.uk 👍
