it's surprising how many upto date sites are so out of date..
PROMA used to be good and upto date, even the 2012 scanner guides on ebay are out of date..

i'd love to be able to find reliable upto date frequencies. :)

So would I, its a real pain not being able to obtain this information. I would publish it if I could find it :(

We have a guy 56FB001 Mike, who is seriously into scanning pirate radio, he publishes nearly every day on the FB forum.

But other scanning goes missing :(

I did find a half decent numbers scanning site, but even that hasn't been touched for a couple of years now.

Theres a lot of frequencies on there and a lot of frequency lists. And a lot of them are listed by date for example: UK SCANNING DIRECTORY 2009 COMPLETE PROMA DATABASE a file a lot here will be familiar with, we could also find many frequencies on here out of date so you can't really knock them on that, even ofcom isn't god and flucks up :)

I think thats a common misunderstanding. Where the description says updated daily it means they update it daily so its an up to date copy that has been maintained daily. They cant update the cd daily as once its sent thats it. But I will pass this on ;)

http://ukspec.tripod.com/spectrum.html has a more up to date version of 70.5-71.5, it doesn't do local frequencies but it's a pretty good guide for national stuff.

Not really RogerD, there is no mention of the fire service in that area on The UK Scanning Directory (KimmyJS19) either, and posts on that forum do not reflect the directories content, which is updated daily by a number of people, I mean, there's lots of frequencies listings on the forum here at TM1 that are stickies but haven't been updated since 2004.

That is a nice link you posted and I've seen it before over the years but it's only a band plan, and opening it at work without an adblocker was a bad idea with all the adverts and the advertisement video playing, nice resource though and very well put together, also another good resource where you can get a similar look at the band plan from ofcom on the link here too ;)

449.320 is not a UK allocation so you must have the steps set incorrectly. You were probably monitoring 449.3125 which is a Simple UK (formerly UK General) freq used by thousands throughout the UK.
