Going through my older eQSL logs and my only recorded contact with wales was Dean. A friend of my own and of the forum, silent key, but never forgotten.

RIP Dean.

Quite a few silent keys remembered from Kirton in Lindsey, of course the home of Knights CB. All good breakers lost but not forgotten.

Margaret - Hot Curry
Bill - Little Bit Up
Ian - Ironside
Barbara - Smokey Lady
Des - Tracker

Don't know if anyone's posted this but Len Dixon , g3xxq and not unheard of on cb, passed away about 10 days ago. He ran Dixon electronics in Gateshead for 17 years and encouraged many of us into ham radio and had plenty of time for cb operators too. Rip

I thought I had overheard someone say that, but dismissed it. Yes indeed. RIP "Lenny" Dixon, many-an-item bought from there.

My best mate for years,Steven briggs(lollypop) died about 15years ago i think it was, spent all day with him out mobile, dropped him off at home,6 hours later died from undiagnosed marphens disease, one of those lads who would go out of his way to help anyone, and would down a bottle of brandy and talk all night on 19,absolute legend, gone but not forgotten mate.

Like many, I will be at my radio at midnight to celebrate the new regulations.

I won't be transmitting till 12:01. I minute for the silent keys who didn't get to see this day. :shh:
