Just rejoined TM1 after quite a hiatus (must have logged on years ago with scotscan but canna mind).
I'm in the Aberdeenshire area - will try to give a wee bit more lease of life to logging any V/UHF business frequencies I hear when oot and aboot.
Using SDR# with an Icom 8600 and a Uniden 3600xlt.
Couple of questions before I hit the road:
- Anyone in Aberdeen know if the Hospital pager is still active on 454.325?
- Is the Pubwatch / Shopwatch service still in use?
Cheers,
Richard aka Scotscan

Re: Aberdeen hospital pager
Third query is also - does anyone know what the service is on 159.400? I've occasionally seen it come up in a scan using DMR
Re: Aberdeen hospital pager
159.400 is the input for 163.900, a short term hire frequency, it could be used over months or longer or just a day.
Pagers on 454.325 and others are still used across the UK.
Shopsafe is on databases for Aberdeen as either 453.775, 453.1125 or 453.1875. I'm not in the area so I can't confirm which mode or frequency.
