Dave, can you explain what you mean? Are you refering to the Scan125 program?
Scan125 is in effect a full virtual control program for the scanner. It does require the scanner to be attached. When the program starts it does a full read of all the scanner settings and channel/frequency data. If you change nothing then nothing is sent back to the scanner. If you change anything then that is immediately sent to the scanner, and with frequency changes then once sent to the scanner the change is read back as the scanner may have changed the frequency you entered in Scan125 to be on a correct step value that the scanner uses. This ensure both parties are 100% aligned with each other.
Besides the full virtual control you can save the full scanner settings and frequencies, or just frequencies to files that you can later reload.
