Does SDR Angel need to be online? Apart from the SDR side, I'm interested in the decoders like AIS and ADSB for example, so do these need online connection.

It would decode both of those offline but wouldn't be able to download the maps. It might be worth trying it on and offline to see if the maps can be saved locally?
