My story is that James took apart my Acom 2000 a couple years ago (I happened to be on holiday in Cornwall at the time). Easy fix - but a hell of a lot of screws. Pleasant guy, time-served etc. Genuinely interested in what folks do and what they need - and at what cost. 4.9/5 is probably about right.

I have no direct experience of his workmanship but he is very expensive.

Also whilst looking at his videos on Facebook I saw a radio which I had previously sold in full working order a couple of weeks previously.

Strangely it needed a full alignment and lots of remedial work.

So either the person who bought it had a good twiddle or...

I would not use him again, when ya goods come back and they still have problems his attitude changes.....I'd throw a rig down garden path before use him again.
