Walking about govan yesterday and around 153 MHz could hear some sort of fire brigade officers getting in there fire engine and could also hear some control room reading out a house address to firefighters

What frequency as 153mhz is the pager allocation? Were you using a propper scanner or a dongle? If a dongle could be off frequency.

sorry mate it was a mistype it was on 457 mhz on a baofeng uv5r
