165.2500 DMR

Post by phillmobile »

Any one figured out what this is i seem to be able to hear it everywhere

3 licenses all low height and low power

constant transmission maybe gps polling

I am picking it up in Bridlington but i just can not decode it with either dsd or whistler trx-2

I can go right in to South Yorkshire and its the same

Any thoughts guys

thanks

I have it down in my logs as Warter Priory, data only. As I have a tick next to it in my logs, this means I must have looked up the frequency some time ago on Ofcom.

Some time ago I was able to pick up GPS positions with LRRP in that area, I could have sworn it was on that frequency but not getting any positions now.

Maybe similar to what you suggest, they may have decided to do away with gps so not renewed the licence, but someone forgot to switch off the repeater?
