Afternoon all, my trusty RA17 has developed a fault whereby the AGC (AVC in old-Racal speak) appears to run the gain at max when ever in this mode of operation. Rx works fine still with the attenuator / IF gain backed right off.
I haven't investigated the fault at all as it only occurred the other day. is anyone able to point me in the rough direction of the likely culprits?
On a similar note does anyone know of anyone who could take the radio and give it a full refresh / alignment for me?
