Post by nordhavn »

Which configuration is best suited for an end fed wire , V or Sloper ? Also I bought a 100m drum of 1mm single electric cable ( conduit type) would that be suitable ?

For which band?
End fed can't be inv. V antenna. Second part is missing.
While V dipole is omni, sloper is directional.
End fed is very problematic antenna anyway, I wouldn't recommend it.

and whats stopping you putting a end fed in a V i had a 40m end fed in all sorts of shapes V W L upside down V you might get some weird patterns but they do work ( rf is a big prob at times )

to help with RF you can try a counterpoise ie a long peice of wire to the grounding lug of your atu or radio or get the longest copper pipe you can into the ground and connect that as well even put radials on the pipe , a simple coax rf choke takes the rf away on my 11m delta loop

Sorry , what I meant was like an upsidedown 'V' higher in the middle of 10m.
