HELP NEEDED with ICOM 706 MK3G

,ICOM 706 MK 3G every time the mike gets near or touchs a metal object it transmits ???? HELP NEEDED why would it do this ???

First off, never heard of a mk3g version. Is that correct?

Second, is it the stock hand mic or another type?

Third, has it always done this or been fine before?

Lastly, is this installed on the boat?

My mistake its a 706 mk 11g ,
it is with useing the as you say a stock mic ,
it was working fine before ive had a play aroung with one or two knobs ???,
it is not in my boat ,i know it is abit wet under foot in the fens but it is dry in my shed or as you all call them your shack ?
and last i would like to thank all the people who in the past who have tryed to help me .

Make sure you have not turned VOX on, could be some hum tripping the VOX.

"An antenna with a poor ground using few radials cannot have a support mast grounded to the radial common point (at least it shouldn't if designed properly) There is no exception to this!
