Hi All,
Bought a SDR dongle, aerial etc recently with no instructions.
Looking for a download site to use this little device.
Trying to set it all up with little success.
Many thanks

What kind of SDR dongle did you buy?
If it's an RTL based TV tuner then http://www.rtl-sdr.com is the place to start. Check out the 'quick start guide' to get you going.
If it's an actual SDR dongle then head on over to the manufacturer's site.

On the basis that it's a ten quid TV dongle, you'll need 3 basic things to get you started.
Radio software like SDR# or HDSDR, many others to choose from from the link kr0ne gave.
Dongle drivers in the form of Zadig which is downloadable.
And an ExtIO.DLL that drags into the folder of your radio software, there are generic ones to get you started, just do a Google search.

There's also a ton of info on this forum if you search for 'RTL2832', the 'quick start guide' on the link above is probably the clearest explanation to follow though - it's linked to a big button on the top of every page of the site.
