Lincoln 2 v3 help required

Hi all,
Just swapped my Cobra for an as new in the box President LIncoln 2 V3. On getting it home it is not putting any power out, as the rig came with no manual and is still in 10m mode, How do I do a factory re set to see if it keays up, if I get it transmitting how do you get it to 27 Mhz, don,t want to go acusing the guy of conning me if this is just a simple re set
Any help asap would be great

Press and hold the Menu button for 2 seconds and there is a reset function in there which you select using the up down arrow buttons.

Sounds like it hasn't been expanded. There's a small wire at the front of the board labelled L503 and exp that needs snipping to put it into expanded mode.

Thanks for the replies, done a re set and it still would not tx, turns out it was a bad patch lead, so its txing 100% now, just need to snip that wire now, so will whip the casings off in a bit, what frequency range will I get?

Wow, how easy is that to wideband, all done now and working very well, just need some good skip now. Thanks all for your help
