Now that you guys have owned the 9900 for a while, what are your thoughts on this rig now?
I'm thinking of buying one.
Any reliability issues, etc'?

I had the older and the newer V4 versions along with the AT-6666 and found them to be great radio's
They have good power output. Good audio reports, even with the standard mic.
They do tend to heat up a bit at the rear on FM but just knock the power back or they work well with an RM KL 203.
It's smaller in comparison to the SS6900 / 7900 radio's therefore easier to fit mobile.
I only changed mine due to getting an HF set but thinking of another one for the mobile.

I've got one it's a good rig got it new this year but isn't for me it's currently on eBay but I can't fault it other than me preferring older style ssb rigs
