Is there much activity on 2 meter SSB ?

Hello all,

Having found my 2 meter FM radio is now better used as a door stop I wondered what activity if any there is on SSB ? I have an old Liner 2 which I used to have great fun with but is it worth putting an antenna up ?

Quite a bit of activity especially during the CC’s on Tuesdays. You will miss out on the digital stuff with the Liner 2 of course.

There is quite a bit of SSB activity in my local area, mind you FM is pretty active as well.
