Hi ,
looking for advice on buying a dongle for listening to dmr and clear tetra signals if someone can help? never used one before so completely new to it
based in Troon Ayrshire.

any of the crappy cheap RTL-SDR type dongles will work as a receiver.
it's the software you'll need to set up to work for digital.
SDR-Sharp you can add add-ons for Tetra although i never got it to work.
DSD+ will do DMR, Fusion and Dstar in HDSDR.
me i just use a basic realistic scanner with discriminator tap and DSD+

i've had this tetra decoder working with sdr#, though i used an airspy R2 rather than an rtl-sdr.
