scanner freqs for Coleraine/Ballymoney area

Post by stevelee1981 »

Hi there folks

New to the forum but been using scanners for around a year now.
Was wondering does anybody have any recent active freqs for the Coleraine/Ballymoney areas? There seems to be a distinct lack of up to date freqs for n.i and especially for around this area.
I have i few for this area if anyone is interested, but would also like to see if anyone has freqs to for around these parts.

Many thanks..

Using a UBC92XLT Uniden

Hey Steve;
Pretty new on here myself welcome to the forum. There should be plenty of traffic in your neck of the woods this weekend.

Hi Andy

Yeah the scanner should be very busy on sat and sun in portrush with the air show being on. hope to get down to it on one or both days and see what freqs i pick up. dont have the mil air range on my ubc92xlt which is a pity. will have to invest in another scanner with that range on it.

Steve..

Hi Steve, sadly there doesn't seem to be much radio traffic around here. I'm based in Coleraine and so far all I'm able to pick up is a couple of taxi firms, UU security, and airband City of Derry airport. Still trying to get a decent working NIR/Translink, Community Rescue Service and Coleraine Borough Council frequency.

Hi Bannside

since posting this ive bought myself a decent base scanner and scan king antenna so ive got loads of local
frequencies for coleraine area.

pm me on here and i will gladly give you some decent frequencies for some of those mate.

if your in the town itself and not far outside it you will def pick up the frequencies i have.
maybe we can swap a few and see if you have some i dont have either.
regards
