Founded in 1954, the Radio Amateur Invalid and Blind Club is a National Society dedicated to providing help or assistance to invalid, blind or vision impaired radio amateurs and short wave listeners. Our activities fall into three main areas: providing membership services of various kinds including the loan of suitable equipment to qualified members: the holding of regular HF and VHF radio nets: and the production and distribution of the club magazine 'RADIAL' containing news, views, and articles of general interest concerning the activities of the club and its members.
