Re: norfolk fire service
Norfolk and Suffolk fire services can both still be heard on 70.975 (VF) and 71.275 (VN).
Norfolk dont tend to use the system as much as most mobilising info is passed via the MDTs (mobile data terminals) and yes they have changed all the callsigns!
Suffolk still pass all messages via the radio but many of the pumps are fitted with new airwave digital radios however they are still linked to the old system so they can still communicate with the older appliances.
I guess once all the fleet have been fitted out with airwave radios the old VHF repeaters will be turned off.
