President Harry 2 classic

Hello, i have here a president harry 2 classic.Transmit and modulation is just fine.
But nothing at all at receiving....rf gain is wide open so that is not the problem.
Anyone an idea where i have to look for this problem.

Are you getting any noise through the speaker at all?
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

Can you see incoming signals on smeter? Try external speaker first.
Most probably 2nd IF filter died. Pretty common in that junk.
Easy to check. Measure voltage on 455 filter output. Should be +1V to +1.8V
If not filter is faulty.

Check your squelch control isn't pointing to ASC

Speaker is fine,we get noise.
No incoming signals...
