My view is "fair play to him". He can parcel up orders in the morning and then have afternoons off to go fishing, or whatever floats his boat.
I say good luck to him. There's more to life than being at work all the time.

Aint that the truth. I dont understand people who never want to retire and want to work until they die. Sod that, There is more to life than working all the time. Like they say, Only fools and horses work.

Hmm, maybe the start of winding down the business. Real pity if so, Knights has been going for a very long time, but if it's getting harder moneywise to keep going then something has to give, but if a case of age and wanting more personal time then l certainly get that.

I’ve been online almost totally since covid and a few people worked out where the office is, and popped in. A few customers I’d tell that I wasnt in but could meet them at the office. No point having it as a shop, and having to be there every single moment. Sales levels could never cover staffing. I can do an average of maybe 2-3 hours a day and make it work. During the day, the UPS drop off is the computer shop, next door, but if I do the 2 hours at 8pm, the local post office get the delivery, and I’ll drop the post off on the way home at ten. Life is too short for small business owners.
