alpha 4000

Does anyone know why the albrecht alpha 4000 has a 6 pin mic socket ? :D

hi claude.yeah ive seen those two half schematics.....there is a middle pin which is 13+v and another odd pin is connected to the fm detector at its pin 7,,,thats if ive read it right...just cant see why or what the function is meant to be or do..!

Strange world because I own two alpha's and both are 4 pin mics

hi dave you were next on my list .ptbm170aox....also by stabo...they were 4 pin also,,,im just curious why there is a couple extra pins,,,cheers ade

Dave m0ogy has a manual for his.

I am aware that two different boxes were available one is white while the other one is blue

I forgot I even had one, I do indeed have a mint boxed one, it was maybe 5 years ago since I saw it though,Rotel RVC 240 look with a red display if I remember rightly.I I'll find it out. I forgot who I bought it off now, I think was a TM1 Member though

Could I be troublesome and ask for a copy of the manual in your own time of cause.
