Does anyone know why the albrecht alpha 4000 has a 6 pin mic socket ?

hi claude.yeah ive seen those two half schematics.....there is a middle pin which is 13+v and another odd pin is connected to the fm detector at its pin 7,,,thats if ive read it right...just cant see why or what the function is meant to be or do..!

hi dave you were next on my list .ptbm170aox....also by stabo...they were 4 pin also,,,im just curious why there is a couple extra pins,,,cheers ade

I forgot I even had one, I do indeed have a mint boxed one, it was maybe 5 years ago since I saw it though,Rotel RVC 240 look with a red display if I remember rightly.I I'll find it out.
