Does anyone know, do you have to join a club and attend to take your examination in house at a RSGB Centre?
PS I have no PC only a tablet.
Regards Rob.

*No answers on a midweek afternoon and early evening when maybe a good percentage of the users of this relatively quiet forum at at work or dealing with real life.
So to my answer, I've no idea, try asking the RSGB.
my friend grafter, seems like you are using a very offensive tone in the reply.

Re: licence in house with RSGB
Hi Rob,
There are currently two ways to take the UK amateur radio exam:
1. Online, remotely invigilated by the RSGB over webcam (you'll need a PC or Mac to run the exam software), or
2. At a local amateur radio club's exam centre
If you decide to go down the route of using a local club, note that each club is different - some will offer exam sessions to anyone, and some will only offer exam sessions to club members. Most clubs charge an additional fee to help cover the costs of hiring their venue.
Does that help?
Pete

Yes Pete, thanks.
I’ll email my local RSGB and ask.
