How much QRM Do you suffer from ?

I live in a sea of it, 90% of it comes from the heating system the council installed on the estate about ten years ago, Uses big externally mounted fans.

Till a few weeks before xmas 40m was my least effected band with a constant S-5 Of mush, But at certain times it's started creeping up to an S7.

20m Is my most effected band, At worst it's S-8

15m around S-7

11m the same

10m Around S-5

All the above figures are with the preamp off.

Sometimes wonder why i bother.

Curious as to what other users experience on the HF Bands

CB - none. 5/8 vertical.
6-20m none. Multi element Yagi antennas 15-25m over a ground.
30m s2-3 band static on full size GP
40m s3-4 band static on full size GP
80m s4-6 band static on full size GP, none one k9ay and Beverages.
I don't even use NB nor ANL.
It took some time to get off all noisy crap around, but was worth it.

Iv'e camped in the middle of nowhere and had QRM, Seem's to follow me around

I have station on countryside.
After Polish "Ofcom" intervention on my call I had noisy 15kV transformer replaced a few years ago, one or two insulators on powerline 300m away, fixed leaking grounding.
Leaking 15kV insulator can make 59+ noise really far.

It goes up and down here,day time around s2 and evenings it can be higher when people turn tv on. Christmas lights from a neighbor made it go up to s7.

About time radio manufacturers started incorporating QRM Eliminators into their radios, Although i'm not totally convinced they are that effective,

There is a conspiracy theory going about that CB Radio is targeted deliberately due to the fact that the GOV can't control it. I'm talking in terms of freespeech. But for it to look good all HF is wiped out. Not saying it's true but it makes sense.

Sounds far fetched to me considering CB is rarely used these day's the same folk who spread that conspiracy probably think the earth is flat and our minds are being controlled by 5-G Signals

On 11Mtrs I get S9 most of the time

It is not from my house as I tested by running off a battery.

It is from the aerial, not the mains.

I tried a (new) QRM eliminator. I spent a good few hours / days experimenting with it. It made no difference. This is 90% certain because whilst they are OK at "nulling out" a specific source of noise ( a TV or Wi-Fi repeater etc) but not any good when it comes to a general "mush" of noise coming from multiple sources.

So, if I want to play radio "properly", I go about 2 miles away, out of the village in my VW camper and avoid the QRM that way.

What ever happened to the time when any electronics equipment sold had to pass a test to prove it did not emit spurious RF
