That is pretty bad.

I am almost tempted to buy one for a laugh then film it getting bleedover for Youtube.

Communicator NI440DX.
Everytime it was keyed the tx sent odd spurios across the band and you could
always tell if someone was using one. But it looked quite nice.

The other contender was something called an Eagle 40.
No s-meter, a front end that collapsed even on moderate signal levels
and was capable of demodulating all 40 channels at the same time.

I only ever saw one of them, I wonder why ?

For me the midland 3001 was a terrible bleed over box and it ruined the rig however many breaker's said it had nice audio and on late night net's the rig worked ok but during the day it was was almost un usable

I would have said that the 3001 was more of a middle of the road radio than a bad one. They do have a bit of a receiver issue but at least the TX audio is decent. I found the receiver issues to be more of a de-sense type rather than bleedover.

Maxcom 20E , Commtron 40F, Gecol and Cheiza and finally the fidelity 3000 Homebase. All were 🤮
