Does anyone know the frequencies used to call for help on a handheld UHF/VHF over the Dartmoor area?

Back in Nov me n the new Mrs were house hunting round Devon n took a run to Princetown to see an old friend.. i had the 857 scanning thru many diff UHF n VHF freqs used by various agencies.... apart from hits on 449mHz biz freqs there was nothing!
