Ive had fun on 27.025 AM (superbowl)with only 100w and a crap set-up,each to their own.
Plenty are talking worldwide on 27.555 usb,
Some are too far up their own @rse to admit it,
Many happen to know otherwise dx-ing test free,

If I was buying one I would wait until it had been out in the wild for a while first.
The first Grant 2's got good initial reviews, but they soon got a reputation for having many issues once they had been used for a while.

And I enjoyed talking to Trevor in Swansea on a Harvard 407H homebase at 0.4w into a homebrew 1/4 wave wire di-pole = that was more than fun.....that was funny to me/him.
Don't think the average power used would be more than 50-350w localish to me on CB for dx-ing,especially if the conditions are good,many are ok a.s.l.and don't need more power.
