Sweet jesus that went for a lot of dollarinos. Didn't know parts from these were so valuable.

I was bidding on this but I backed off once it had went over 35 euros. I only wanted the bezel so it wasn't worth me continuing to bid. I had a feeling it would have went higher than my bid regardless!

That's actually quite tame compared to the prices that excellent 148 faceplates fetch even without the bezel and controls.

Still, it's crazy when I've just paid a little more than double that for a fully boxed 360FM in near mint condition.

These radios are just mad sought after and with good reason, They are nice as frig to use.

I got mine for something less than 10 pounds at a car boot sale. Cant even imagine how lucky i was just then.

I saw that one you recently lost then won!

I just wasn't prepared to pay the best part of £50 with delivery for a bezel I wanted as a spare, when you can still find complete radios in decent condition (as you well know) for £30-40 more.

Still, these parts are valuable and if somebody's prepared to spend X to get it, then good luck I say.

Crazy prices for a bezel . They normally go for about €10 here . You can get a decent radio , complete , for about €40 if you shop around .

I just got back from a ham swap and meet in VLC here where they had this exact radio... for €70 You will be somewhat hard pressed to find these at €40 here without some luck.

I'm talking about Spain. They're 10 a penny here. No idea where VLC is.

Yep, would not pay anything like that for a Bezel, rather just get the right radio to begin with.

Valencia, as stronty said. I need you to funnel some of those 10 euro Alicante radios my way... Guys in my province sit on overpriced classifieds for 6 months at a time.. two years of attending the biggest car boot sale in the city (rastro) and ive found superstars only twice... Need more radios
