Thanks for the update and link Nick.

Sadly of no use to me, but it will be for a lot of TM1 members and visitors to this site.

How can you not use a UBC125XLT scanner :)

Joking aside I'm a little peeved as no sooner than I released V1.9.1.0 (which fixed/worked around the Windows 10 problem of ports with trailing alpha characters) I got a report from a user (which is so much appreciated as I totally rely on all feedback) that his W10 system occasionally adds Chinese like characters/symbols! Groan!!!!

Anyway for those with this issue there is a Patch V1.9.1.1 available to download.

I've had plenty of Uniden/BearCat (UBC) portables, 72 and 90 come to mind, but never progressed onto the 125, too much going on for an old git, I had a 3500 for a while, but that was too much of a kerfuffle, and I only used about 20% of it's functionality.

I have ended up with a Yupi 7100 for my portable scanner in my old age, very simple, but a damn fine set considering the bandwidth.

I do love the closecall on UBC sets, and I have a 355 in the Mondeo that was really well thought out by someone as a mobile set.

Good luck with your venture.

You said "Good luck with your venture".

Well thank you.

As with most stuff in life all journeys are a mutual journey and this type of journey requires customer feedback and a developer response. Thankfully I think I am on top of customer feedback/request curve?

What's the chances of porting this to a 3500 Nick? I'm a lot more useful using a computer than a modern scanner.
