Sea & Air Cadet radio frequencies

Post by StormShadow »

Hi. Does anybody know what the Air Cadets & sea cadets radio frequencies are?

I'm assuming the Sea Cadets use VHF? I remember the Air Cadet frequencies were on UHF somewhere in the middle of the 70cm Amateur band around 435MHz but I can't remember the exact frequencies they used.

I wonder if I can still use my old Air Cadet callsign its been a very long time since I was in the Air Cadets.

I believe the Sea Cadets have different channel numbers, and an additional freq*:

SCL:30 435.750
SCL:31 429.725* HQ & area training
SCL:32 435.625 Secondary
SCL:33 435.775 Primary

Not that I ever hear any Sea Cadets round here :(

These are the Sea Cadet VHF freqs I have (found somewhere on the web).
I've never heard a peep on any of them.

36.80000 SCL:27
37.02500 SCL:20
37.30000 SCL:26
38.10000 SCL:28
40.20000 SCL:29

73.36250 SCL:22
73.38750 SCL:23
73.48750 SCL:24

Callsigns start "Mike Foxtrot …" apparently.

We do use HF nets, alongside nets at RIAT each year, for the camp.
