Well I've passed my Foundation

Post by marcdjay »

Went over to Thornton Cleveleys over the weekend (over 150 miles from Redcar) to do my foundation course and exams. The guys at TCARS were great, with various members turning up just to "muck in".

Passed yesterday after dropping 1 mark on a bugger of a question, so now just waiting for my candidate info to go to ofcom so I can apply for my callsign.

TCARS guys are a fantastic bunch and have invited me back over if I choose to do my intermediate.

Happy days!

Thanks guys.

Yep I have an antenna suitable for 10, just need a rig for it now.

BTW how long roughly does it take for your candidate number to get to ofcom?

Impatient bugger me
