should I put the base rx as my radios tx and base tx as my radios rx?

Not a great idea as if you accidentally key up the rig you'll be transmitting into the shopwatch repeater. Also I would imagine if you get caught with a transceiver set up to TX on the shopwatch frequencies you'll be in considerably more trouble than you would if it was a receive only scanner. At the very least I'd program one of the PMR446 channels into the TX frequency instead.

I can hear Shopwatch in Lincoln just can't make out what they are saying. sounds scrambled.

How far away are you from the city centre? I'm just down the road and can pick shopwatch/pubwatch up on the stock antenna that my scanner came with. Maybe you are not close enough?

Lincoln shopwatch 453.0625mhz CTCSS 67.0 NFM.

I'm up near the prison/hospital and they come through really strong off just a rubber duck.

Dunno if it is digital or scramble? Anyone got a link to what digital sounds like on an analogue scanner?

Hi Im near Dixon street at the moment. Im guesing Im not programming it right. Do you know how to program these f22 radios?

You would hear them from that location no problem on that Freq i gave above.
You need a cable and software to program them i think.

Can't help you there as i know nothing about those radio's LOL

Been monitoring shopwatch Lincoln Freq. all morning from 9.30am and its not been very busy a few radio checks thats about it not very exciting really.

i did hear some a few minutes ago but it sounded scrambled, ive turned that inversion thing on to see if that works

Sounds like it is working.

Managed to decode via pc so its deffo voice inversion.

Software had crashed thats why it was quiet LOL

Did you just hear them about the swan on Altham Terrace.
