hi all was at the metro centre tonight wif the girl friend lol but i left my pmr 446 in my pocket wif the ear fone i turned it on i have noticed that sum off the security are using pmr 446 and a nother pmr any one have any freqs thanks

Standard PMR's wont reach the frequencies below, the chinese imports will if you have one.
on a scanner or grey import radio try around 456 to 457 mhz using Narrow Band Frequency Modulation and use 12.5KHz spacing.
you may also want to try 449 - 450 mhz as many big shops use radios in this part of the spectrum.

Apologies for hijacking the thread but does anyone know if they have changed the CTCSS for the Metro Centre Security frequency, as I have the carrier but no voice!

440.575 seems to be the main security frequency although others are listed. It is the only one I have actually heard.

Flash, just switch off your CTCSS and see if you get the voice again... if not, if you just get S9 but no talking, they may have gone digital...
