Horrific aerial problem

Horrific aerial problem

Dear forum members im absolutely devastated I have a wellbrook shortwave aerial with a forty forty
And at 3.18 pm I saw light was off on the interface
Then I put coax back in and I got plus forty decibels with terrible Audio
Then now light has totally gone off

Sorry for your loss. Did you check power supply?

Thanks for sympathy that means a lot buddy
Yes power supply to interface is on it just lit up few minutes ago and did same thing lit up
And horrific audio and plus forty signal then went off again .
Could it be the interface

By the way it’s not the interface because I’ve tried it with a spare coax cable that is hanging around
Unfortunately not long enough to reach to the loop h f aerial
I have a second spare coax and if I’ve a got a b n c to b n c adapter I’ll try and see if loop works
But can’t try now because it’s raining and that will damage the loop plug
