Hi, I'm back into the world of radio and things have certainly changed!
I got my call sign a couple of weeks ago and am applying for a Tango Mike callsign for some DXing. Must say the world of CB DXing seems a bit baffling, but it's good to learn new stuff.
My equipment is a Fidelity 2000, same set I had back in the 80s. A TYT TH9800 and a Baofeng handheld for 2m and 0.7m. A CRT 226900v for sideband stuff. Antennas are poor at the moment, a 2m home made antenna indoors and a centre loaded mobile whip more or less outside the window. Looking forward to getting some outside antennas up when the weather improves. Also have a couple of marine radios when on my boat.
Looking forward to being educated about radio, especially the DXing side of things. Also into guitars and old amps, Lambrettas, Vespas, slalom skateboarding, sailing and not taking life too seriously.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Plymouth, pretty much in the centre.
