Hi,
What is the procedure for setting "RV1" on the Omegaforce, which is located just in front of the ERF2030 finals? RV1 is not shown on any of the schematics I have found for the Deltaforce or Omegaforce. If you replace the ERF2030s with IRF520s or IRF520Ns, other than a check of the Tx inductor can line up for max RF power, is adjustment of RV1 or anything else necessary? On FM Tx, I am measuring about 3.5V on the gates of the IRF520 driver and the first IRF520 final, but 4.15V on the gate of the second final.
Thanks!

Anyone? Pretty common radio that I imagine someone must have set up in the past?

Sorry . Not me . Think I've only got one radio with MOSFETs in it , and I'd no idea how to set it up .

Re: OmegaForce ERF2030 setup
Thanks Sammy.
Thanks Claude. The method used in your first link for the Magnum S9 is probably how it should be done for the OmegaForce. I shall see what the current is set at before deciding if it should be 150mA. There's probably a calculation for the optimum current setting somewhere.
