Piezo 357

Post by CHASSISMAN »

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a schematic for a Piezo 357
Microphone, a friend of mine got given one not working but instead of repairing it correctly he done a proper bodge job on it doing away with ppt bar and fitting a switch for on/off and connecting volume control doing away with slider so it's on full volume all the time, I did try to rescue it before he butchered it ,now he's ruined it his giving it to me with all the bits he taken out and broken ,so I would like to get it going again correctly ,it's in good condition so worth saving if possible.

Just to add that my mic cable had been changed . I have braid and white together = screen . Yellow is audio . Red was RX and black TX I think . Or they may have been the other way round . the main thing to remember is that white needs to be joined to braid , which is covered with thick red insulation in my photo .
