Re: Thoughts on Network Radios.
I just bought one of the Senhaix N60s which are also the one sold by Anysecu - and I fitted it in my van, and I'm really pleased because it's got a big display. I bought a 500Mb a month/12 month SIM for about 16 quid, and that's it. I'm using Network Radios groups - on Zello and it works brilliantly - and there are so many groups you can join, or just listen to it's damn handy. I'm a bit of a new convert, but it seems to do exactly what people say it does.

Here you go. This is the Senhaix version. In truth I don't know if mine is this or the Anysecu as there isn't any writing on them!

Sort by lowest price and you can get 500mb data and 500 odd minutes on a 1 month rolling contract for as little as 3.99 a month.

Oops, begging your pardon, it was late and I'd had a beer or two
On another note.... If it has bluetooth could you use internet connection sharing on your phone? Like my satnav gets live traffic info?

Is it me??? 3.99 x 12 works out at nearly £48... The OP+1 has a 12 month deal "around £16" with 500Mb for 12months (500Mb/12months).
Thanks anyway

Re: Thoughts on Network Radios.
I think ID mobile are quite cheap in UK and often do deals.
Keep your eyes open for deals though, I managed to grab a deal where I pay £5 and get 250mins, 5000 txts and 2.25gb of data per month. That's on a 30 day contract and any unused data rolls over into the next month. Thats pretty good going i thought.

I'll stop there, as we're drifting off topic, but as the 'radio' in question is actually a mobile phone with a posh jacket on then it's understandable.
As for my thoughts on Network Radios, in this respect I don't think we can really call it a radio to be fair.... At least, not in the traditional point-to-point sense anyways

Re: Thoughts on Network Radios.
If someone tells you that you need/must have a callsign to use this service then you are well within your rights to give them plenty of kick back as that's simply elitist bullsh*t. I can't stand that attitude.marvin wrote: ↑16 Aug 2018, 08:38 Used it through Zello on my phone a couple of times......GB3IW are having a bit of a play on there to boost the amature hobby, I then joined one of the other groups and got poo poo’ed because I dont have an amature callsign..........not used it since ! A tango Mike group would be welcomed by those amongst us who are interested in this corner of the hobby and I am sure that it would be an inclusive place where anyone (Ham or otherwise) could join in and chat.
