From the same silent key sale I also won x2 AR88D's for £124 & this huge pile of gear for £120,lots of goodies in there including x2 FT-290R's, x2 Variacs, scanners, what looks to be a spares FT-102 & x3 WW2 items & some cb's in there too, think the tv's will be going to the local tip.

Cheers pal,all going to a good home,i recently moved to South Cumbria & getting all set up again, hopefully have my new shack built to put all this gear in,got loads of BIG radios already so i need to make sure i have plenty of space, can't get enough of the old stuff but quality is what i want & need especially military gear as i have an attraction to it (my Mrs calls it an addiction) but my excuse & main reason being is because i am a veteran,i think she understands (Not!)

I also went up to Bonnie Scotland & met Sickboy (Steve) & bought the Racal RA17L off him which works superbly.
The unit above the main receiver is a RA63 SSB Adaptor which improves SSB https://www.recelectronics.co.uk/ssb.htm
Thanks for a pleasant deal Steve & it has gone to a good home

A nice clean Trio / Kenwood TR-751,bought off Ebay, seller said he thought it perhaps had a PLL issue as it would not change frequency all it was the F lock feature had been activated on the radio.
All working perfect as it should, price paid £45!

Hi & thank you,ok, no not Signals, why were you?? i am Ex Queens Lancashire Regt (Infantry) & served in Iraq in 2004 as Force Protection, mainly escorting convoys to & from Kuwait, running the gauntlet around Basrah & guarding Div HQ at Basrah Airport, but i did sit the signals cadre at Catterick & passed, the things you do that thrash your head, especially BATCO
I just like collecting military radio gear mainly because of the build quality & the Nostalgia of it all,i just don't tell the Mrs that

Oh well his days of insulting & trying to bring people down with his egotistical ways are done.
